Conferencing, Video and Audio Visual Events
Our corporate work, at John Mayoh Events Ltd, very often involves AV work with large screens both indoor and outdoor. However, AV and video work can also be a great scene setter for private functions. Whether this be nostalgic clips for a 60th birthday, or providing dynamic imagery to run alongside the music via the use of a video dj, we love working with video.
It’s not just about a few pics projected onto a screen any more either. We can now offer video dancefloors (see one in action here, https://www.facebook.com/hotdj.co.uk/videos/vb.105127519639590/606044726214531/?type=2&theater) , pixel mesh video walls, even wrap around room projections if required. The pace of change in this environment is exciting. Christmas 2015 was the first time we offered live texting and selfie posting on a public screen at one of our events (via the foc silverwall app) and guests had great fun posting requests and selfies of themselves all night then waiting for the giant images to appear on the screens for all to see.
We also used the LED graffiti wall for the first time and were amazed by the immediate customer response to this nouveau technology. They had great fun posting selfies and then adding to these with top hats, moustaches and all sorts of other creative artwork!!
Then there’s the videos themselves. Although the technology has been around for a while, there are still a load of great songs which have amazing videos tied to them. Try these for a quick history lesson
If you’d like a video dj at your event, who will dextrously cut between visuals of the songs to abstract patterns, drop in new (or old!) visuals over modern songs, or play selfie clips of the guests and on screen dedications then call us. Or of course, we can just run embarrassing early pics of the birthday boy all night!
